Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how NEXT Pitch Agency (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit nextpitch.agency, contact us (including via Instagram), submit an inquiry, or use our pathway Services. It is written for players and families, including users in Japan and visitors from other countries.

1. Information we collect

Identity and contact data: name, email, Instagram handle, phone (if provided), country/region, and whether you are a player or parent/guardian.

Athlete profile data you choose to share: position, school year, club/school, academic summary, English test status, goals, highlight links, photos, and messages.

Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and referral URLs — typically via hosting analytics (for example Vercel) and similar tools.

Communications: DMs, emails, form submissions, and notes needed to respond to your request.

2. How we use information

To respond to inquiries and provide pathway guidance.

To evaluate fit and, with your direction, communicate with college coaches or programs.

To operate, secure, and improve the website and Services.

To send service-related messages you request (we do not sell personal data).

To comply with law and protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Services.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract or steps prior to contract; (b) legitimate interests in operating an educational recruiting-support practice; (c) consent where required (for example certain marketing or promotional likeness uses); and (d) legal obligation.

For users in Japan, we process personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and related guidelines.

4. Sharing

Service providers: hosting, databases, email/form infrastructure, and analytics processors that help us run the site (for example Vercel, Supabase). They process data on our instructions.

College coaches / programs: only when you ask us to support recruiting outreach or otherwise consent to sharing your profile materials.

Legal and safety: if required by law, court order, or to protect against fraud/abuse.

We do not sell personal information.

5. International transfers

Our site and vendors may process data in Japan, the United States, and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. By using the Services from Japan or elsewhere, you understand that information may be processed outside your country of residence.

6. Retention

We keep inquiry and athlete materials only as long as needed for the purpose collected, for ongoing Services you request, or as required for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes — then delete or anonymize when reasonably practicable.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (access controls, encrypted transport where supported, restricted admin access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children and minors

Our Services are directed to players and families considering college pathways. If a player is a minor, a parent/guardian should supervise contact and provide information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without appropriate parental involvement. Contact us to request deletion if you believe we have such data in error.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Japan APPI rights and, where applicable, GDPR rights may apply.

To exercise rights, message @next_pitch_agency on Instagram or use the website contact form. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

The site may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for security and basic operation, and limited analytics from our hosting provider. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

11. Third-party sites

Instagram and other linked platforms have their own privacy policies. Review those policies when you interact off our site.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site.
