Separate from a single week: families need the year map.
Bottom line: for many NCAA programs, fall is the season; spring is the build. Park tests, visits, film updates, and offer timing on that calendar.
Why fall is “the season”
Matches, travel, and load peak. Spring still matters for fitness, friendlies, and development trips.
Family map (indicative)
Prep → fall in-season → exams → spring build → summer
What the calendar drives
English tests, campus visits, when to refresh film, when offer talks heat up.
Common mismatch
Planning only around summer camps; underestimating fall load.
